A New Chapter for Syria's Economy
After years of conflict, Syria faces the task of fundamentally rebuilding its economy and financial system. Invest in Syria is a high-level conference taking place on 10 November 2026 at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, bringing together key counterparts from the Syrian and German financial system, European actors, and international and national development banks. The goal is to present Syria's key economic priorities and perspectives to international stakeholders, strengthen relationships, and open sustainable channels for continued engagement.
At the core of the conference is a shared dialogue on how international partners can best support Syria's own reconstruction priorities - from strengthening the banking and payments system as a foundation for economic stability, to enabling private sector investment and entrepreneurship as drivers of inclusive growth. Bringing together regulators, commercial banks, and Frankfurt School management enables in-depth, strategic discussions on long-term cooperation. The conference will be followed by a networking evening, offering participants the opportunity to continue conversations.
Please note: The event is by invitation only. Nevertheless, we kindly invite you to indicate your interest via our website. Following a brief review process, we will be pleased to provide you with a final confirmation of your participation.

“Building a new Syria also means building a stronger financial system – one that people and businesses can trust and that is connected to the world. At the Central Bank of Syria, we are working to modernise our institution, strengthen stability, and create the conditions for investment and growth. There is much to do, but we are laying the foundations for a stronger Syria tomorrow.”
“The international reintegration of Syrian banks will be key to Syria’s recovery. At the same time, the people of Syria and Germany have built strong personal ties over recent years. A close economic cooperation can create benefits for both countries. At Frankfurt School, we want to serve as a bridge and an enabler for the financial and real sectors of both economies.”
“As one of the world’s leading business schools, Frankfurt School is the perfect meeting place for international executives looking to expand their knowledge and network in management & finance.”
